Frischer Medical Group Statement on COVID-19
To our highly valued patients:
The COVID-19 pandemic is a new and very serious threat. Everyone’s movement has been greatly restricted in an effort to prevent the further spread of this disease, and to “flatten the curve.” Recent data suggests that anyone can be susceptible, but the severity often rises with age and the presence of other medical conditions. Even more worrisome, we are learning that individuals who show no symptoms may often transmit the disease.
We are still here to help care for your chronic health conditions, as well as any new concerns.
We now offer telemedicine appointments daily.
Please do not ignore your ongoing health issues during these unusual times.
The Frischer Medical Group strongly encourages you to follow established federal, state, and county guidelines. Stay at home as much as possible. If you must go outside, wear a mask, maintain proper distances from others, and practice good hand hygiene. Avoid unnecessary trips. A number of services are available to deliver groceries and prescriptions.
However, keep in mind that isolation and sedentary lifestyles are not good for your physical or your mental health. Please reach out to your community of family and friends through phone and video calls. We encourage you to explore free resources on the Internet, including exercise classes, worship services, and video chat. During this crisis, your phone or computer can help you stay healthy and connected with loved ones and your community, while maintaining social distancing.
It is extremely important to us that we are always available to serve your medical needs. We are 100% dedicated to your health and wellbeing.
We wish you the best of health. Please stay safe. As always, we are here for you.
